I am a computer science PhD student alhamdulillah. My life-s goal is to worship Allah and strive for Jannah al-Firdaws- and I hope to share this journey with a spouse who shares the same vision. I aim to live by the Qur-an and Sunnah as much as possible- praying my daily prayers- avoiding free-mixing- holding to halal food and finance- lowering my gaze- and protecting my deen even in a Western environment. Alongside this- I enjoy exercise- hiking- archery- art- food- and spending time in nature. I place high importance on health and maintain an athletic- low-fat physique. I would describe myself as intellectual- playful- and masculine- and I hope to build a strong- loving- and romantic marriage with friendship- date nights- and mutual growth. I love learning more about Islam in detail- especially its deeper academic aspects through scholarly sources. While I do not strictly identify with any single madhab or movement- I tend to lean toward the Hanbali madhab in fiqh and the simple aqeedah of the early pious Muslims. I am also working on learning Arabic in order to read primary texts and want learn at an Islamic institution-platform in the future. In the long term- I aspire to raise a family in a strong Muslim environment and use my skills in tech to benefit the ummah.
